Ten fights finalized for the upcoming mixed martial arts (MMA) event on July 11 in Taiwan.
ONE FC: "War of Dragons" will be the promotion's first foray into Chinese territory ahead of the series of shows on the mainland which is set to get underway this September and the 10-fight card is now complete with the addition of a heavyweight rematch between Chi Lewis Parry and Alain Ngalani.
Parry (5-0-1) and Ngalani (1-1-0-1) first fought at ONE FC: "Honor & Glory" but the fight lasted less than a minute before the Cameroonian kickboxer was felled with a low blow and decided that he couldn't continue. The 6'9" English heavyweight didn't have to wait too long to be given his second chance and the two will meet again in Taipei later this month.
There are four Taiwanese fighters on the card with heavyweight Paul Cheng (4-1) the most prominent. He will be fighting in Taipei for the first time and looking for his second successive ONE FC win when he takes on Egyptian boxer and EFC veteran Mahmoud Hassan (1-3).
The event is set for the National Taipei University Sports Arena and will be a homecoming for Jeff Huang (3-1) who is an alumnus of the establishment. He takes on Indian debutant Bala Shetty who is a decorated kickboxer and Muay Thai fighter but has never competed in MMA before.
One Taiwanese fighter who will need no introduction to the local audience is Sung Ming Yen (2-1) because he is the local language commentator for the ONE FC broadcasts. Someone else will have to stand in for him in this role on July 11th because he will be busy taking on Singapore's Nick Lee (2-1) in a bantamweight bout.
The fourth and final local fighter in action is undefeated lightweight Zhang Zheng Jie (2-0) who is taking on Malaysia's Rayner Kinsiong (2-0) while there are also three big bouts at the top of the card with Eric Kelly (10-1) taking on Rob Lista (14-5), Koji Ando (8-3-2) going up against Rafael Nunes (10-1), and Yusup Saadulaev (13-3-1) facing Koetsu Okazaki (10-3).
