Who says you can't go home again?

It's a war between locals at UFC on FUEL TV 9, where Papy Abedi will try to keep himself employed at the expense of Besam Yousef as part of the "Gustafsson vs. Mousasi" event on April 6, 2013 at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

Kimura.se confirmed the welterweight pairing earlier today.

Abedi (8-2) saw his undefeated record go up in smoke when Thiago Alves strangled him at the UFC 138 pay-per-view (PPV) event back in late 2011. "Makambo" tried to erase his dismal debut loss from the memories of Swedish fight fans the following April, but once again got choked out when James Head did work at UFC on FUEL TV 2.

This could be his last hurrah if he's unable to secure a win.

Standing in his way is Yousef (6-1). Like his opponent, the Swede was tapped out last year on FUEL TV in his Octagon debut, falling victim to a crafty rear-naked choke courtesy of Simeon Thoresen. The loss snapped his undefeated record -- one that included five finishes in six wins.

Who takes it?

UFC on FUEL TV 9 will be headlined by a 205-pound battle between top contenders Alexander Gustafsson vs. Gegard Mousasi, while Akira Corassani vs. Robbie Peralta hook 'em up in featherweight action.
