Jon Jones: Quinton Jackson is a ‘wuss’ and a ‘baby’ when things don’t go in his favor

There's at least one fighter on the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) roster who probably won't miss Quinton Jackson once he packs up his bags and leaves the promotion for good, and that's current light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones.

"Rampage," who has stated his fight against Glover Teixeira on UFC on FOX 6 this weekend (Jan 26, 2013) in Chicago, Illinois, will in fact be his final one with UFC, recently called for a ban on Jon's "oblique kick" which "Bones" uses often inside the Octagon.

When asked what he thought about Jackson's concern on a recent appearance on The Opie & Anthony Show, Jones didn't have many kind words to offer the former 205-pound champion and his constant complaining.

His words:

"Yeah, the oblique kick, Joe Rogan named it. I don't know, he's a wuss, he's a wuss. He has this tough guy persona but he complains about anything that doesn't go in his favor. ‘Oh, my contract. Oh, he wants to take me down, that's not real fighting.' He is such a baby, he's a baby."

According to Chael Sonnen, who was on the show alongside "Bones," it isn't an "illegal kick" because Jones doesn't actually hit the kneecap, rather, right above it and the only reason why "Rampage" wants it banned is because it works.

Jackson was the recipient of the kick in 2011 at UFC 135 where the former PRIDE FC star fell victim to a fourth round submission at the hands of "Bones" in what was the young champion's first title defense.

For the record, Jones went on to say he practices the technique often in training to assure he doesn't hit the kneecap.
