Dan Henderson reacts to Ronda Rousey vs. Liz Carmouche UFC 157 main event billing

Unlike his striking coach, Gus Pugliese, Dan Henderson doesn't seem to have an issue with the Ronda Rousey vs. Liz Carmouche female title bout receiving top billing over his light heavyweight showdown against Lyoto Machida at UFC 157 on Feb. 23, 2013, in Anaheim, California.

Pugliese recently expressed his disapproval of the bout order, saying "Rowdy" hasn't paid her dues yet while former proven champions such as "Hendo" and "The Dragon" are stuck playing second fiddle to the first-ever Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's championship match.

"Dangerous" says he's a fan of Rousey and doesn't have a problem with banging it out inside the Octagon for a potential 15 minutes instead of a possible 25. In fact, he might even be a little relieved.

His words (via Fight Hub TV):

"I'm good with it. I'm a fan like anybody else. It's a title fight, mine is not and I get to fight three rounds, not five. I think one of my trainers wasn't real thrilled with it. He's down in Brazil, so, they're all over it down there, I guess."

The former two-division Pride FC champion also gave his thoughts on the upcoming 205-pound title fight between his friend and training partner, Chael Sonnen, and division champion Jon Jones, which goes down at UFC 159 on April 27, 2013, saying his buddy does have the style to defeat "Bones,' but it's a fight he didn't deserve.

On top of that, Henderson says should "The American Gangster" top Jones in New Jersey and he defeats Machida in California, he would have no issues fighting his stablemate for the title ... and vice-versa.

"You know, I think Chael definitely has a good chance to beat Jon Jones with his style, but, no, he doesn't deserve the fight. We're both professionals and I'm sure we would both fight each other. I really hope that he wins and does well because I've always loved Chael."

Henderson lost out on his title shot after he suffered an injury during training, which eventually led to the cancelation of UFC 151 after Jones refused to fight Sonnen, who offered to replace Henderson at the event on eight days notice.

With an impressive victory over Machida at UFC 157, "Hendo" will likely set himself up nicely to be the front runner to get next crack at challenging for the title at 205-pounds.
