Chael Sonnen: UFC on FOX 6's Glover Teixeira is the toughest fight at Light Heavyweight that no one is talking about

Quinton Jackson seems to think Glover Teixeira doesn't have enough credentials to warrant big fights like one against Mauricio Rua, which is the reason a majority of "name" mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters aren't jumping at the chance to sign on the dotted line to fight Chuck Liddell's protege.

Well, that and the swath of destruction he has carved on his road to the Octagon, which includes 15 straight victories with 14 finishes.

That's right, 14.

Not to mention the two dominating wins he added to his resume in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) ranks against Fabio Maldonado and Kyle Kingsbury, making his presence felt on the biggest stage the sport has to offer and proving he means business.

Despite the lack of "cred," "Rampage" took the bout against Glover at UFC on Fox 6 , which goes down this weekend (Sat., Jan. 26, 2013) in Chicago, Ill., because, according to the former light leavyweight champion of the world, "he doesn't turn down any fights."

While Jackson may discredit Teixeira's track record, Chael Sonnen, on the other hand, seems to think Teixeira is the toughest fight for anyone in the UFC's 205-pound division even though he isn't getting much mention (yet) as he revealed during a recent ESPN "SportsNation" fan chat.

That's a pretty big compliment coming from a man whose been around the block, competed for world titles on numerous occasions and will challenge the current ruler of the division, Jon Jones -- who many would probably label as the toughest fight in the division -- at UFC 159 on April 27, 2013.

Nevertheless, the grizzled veteran, Teixeira, has the vote of "The American Gangster" as the toughest fight at light heavyweight.

Does he have yours?
