The Albuquerque Police Department is currently seeking UFC champion Jon Jones for questioning in a hit and run case that is currently under investigation.
Earlier on Sunday morning, a middle-aged woman's car was struck in Albuquerque, N.M., and the driver in the other vehicle fled the scene. MMAFighting's Marc Raimondi spoke to Albuquerque PD spokesman Simon Drobik about the accident.
"We don't know where he is right now, said Drobik, who could not confirm if Jones was a suspect in the incident. "We're trying to figure that out."
Jones' head trainer, Greg Jackson, also hasn't heard from his prized pupil.
As of right now Greg Jackson is unable to confirm any news related to Jon Jones. That said, he hasn't been able to reach the UFC champ.

The woman's name was withheld by the authorities; however, Drobik said she was rushed to the hospital with "non life-threatening injuries."
There is no warrant for Jones' arrest and the police department also took to Twitter on Sunday in response to the overwhelming interest, saying it couldn't confirm his involvement in the accident.
We CANNOT confirm that Jon Jones was involved in a H&R traffic accident from this morning. The investigation is ongoing.

Several stories and rumors were making the rounds on Twitter and Facebook on Sunday, saying the UFC 187 fight between Jones and Anthony Johnson on May 23, 2015, would be canceled. MMAFighting also spoke to Johnson's manager Glenn Robinson, who said he had not heard anything about the fight being off.
The last time the UFC champion had a brush with law enforcement was almost three years ago on May 19, 2012, when he was arrested on DUI charges in Broome County, New York.
