The New England Patriots came back from down 10 points in the fourth quarter to defeat the Seattle Seahawks by a final score of 28-24 to win Super Bowl 49 tonight (Sun., Feb. 1, 2015) at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Because he threw for 328 yards and 4 touchdowns (although he did throw 2 interceptions to go with them), Tom Brady was named Most Valuable Player (MVP). The Patriots struck first on a slant to Branden Lafell but the Seahawks rode Marshawn Lynch (102 yards, 1 TD) and big plays from Russell Wilson to rookie Chris Matthews to take a 24-14 lead.
