UFC rankings updated after UFC on FOX 14: Anthony Johnson rumbles his way to No. 1

The official Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) rankings have been updated following UFC on FOX 14, which went down this past weekend (Sat., Jan., 24, 2015) inside Tel2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

Anthony Johnson solidified himself as the No. 1 light heavyweight in the world, taking over Alexander Gustafsson's top spot after blitzing though the towering Swede in the main event of the evening (video replay). The impressive victory was also good enough to earn him a championship fight against division kingpin Jon Jones.

With the loss, "The Mauler" dropped down to No. 2.

Dan Henderson now faces an even steeper climb back to contention, as "Hendo" dropped down all the way to No. 12 (still at 205) after getting knocked out by Gegard Mousasi early in the opening round (full recap here.). On the flip side, "The Dreamcatcher" climbed up to No. 7 (middleweight) after pounding out Henderson.

The victory over "Hollywood" also helped Gegard avoid "irrelevancy."
