Dan Henderson, 44, was out to prove that he still had more left in his mixed martial arts (MMA) tank against Gegard Mousasi last night (Sat., Jan. 24, 2015) in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 14 from Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
He came up bone dry.
It was clear that Henderson was looking to uncork his "H-Bomb," which he had cocked and ready to fire the moment the the Middleweight co-main event match started. Mousasi, aware of its devastating power, kept Henderson at bay with kicks and several well placed jabs.
Henderson appeared that he could wait no longer, perhaps because of an inadvertent eye poke -- or something -- that had Mousasi alerting the referee Leon Roberts that something might be wrong with "Hendo." Rather than wait...
