One of modern boxing's biggest stars returns to action TONIGHT (Sat., Nov. 22, 2014) in Macau, China, when eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao takes on unbeaten prospect and former standout kickboxer Chris Algieri with the WBO welterweight title on the line.

Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KO) suffered the most dramatic defeat of his career in December of 2012 when a right hand from eternal rival Juan Manuel Marquez left him face-down on the canvas. He has since rebounded with solid wins over Brandon Rios and Timothy Bradley, avenging a questionable decision loss in the latter. Algieri (20-0, 8 KO), meanwhile, burst onto the scene with an impressive 2014 campaign, defeating Emmanuel Taylor in February before upsetting Russian bruiser Ruslan Provodnikov in July.

Elsewhere on the card, two-time Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming (5-0, 1 KO) will face Kwanpichit OnesongchaiGym (27-0-2, 12 KO) at flyweight while amateur legend Vasyl Lomachenko (2-1, 1 KO) defends his WBO featherweight belt against Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo (52-1, 33 KO).

The event opens with a junior welterweight battle between unbeaten WBA titleholder Jessie Vargas (25-0, 9 KO) and former 135-pound titlist Antonio DeMarco (31-3-1, 23 KO).
