Invicta Fighting Championship (Invicta FC) made its heavily promoted debut on UFC Fight Pass last night (Sat., Sept. 6), airing live from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. It was a fun night of all-female mixed martial arts (MMA) action (see full results here), but technical issues with the video feed perhaps ruined the ending for some. An ending that saw Michelle Waterson retain her Atomweight title with a third-round technical knockout of Yasuko Tamada in the main event. In addition, Katja Kankaanpaa submitted Stephanie Eggink to become the new Strawweight champion. Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp gathered all the important lovely ladies, including "Karate Hottie," shortly after the event concluded to break down all that transpired at a post-fight press conference.
