Honorio Banario vs. Koji Oishi 2 headlines ONE FC: 'Moment of Truth' on Dec. 6 in Manila

ONE FC: "Moment of Truth" is set for Manila on Dec. 6, 2013 and will be headlined by a featherweight world title rematch between reigning champion Koji Oishi and former titleholder Honorio Banario. Eduard Folayang and Geje Eustaquio will also be on the card which is taking place in the 20,000 capacity SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The first fight between Banario (8-2) and Oishi (24-9-10) headlined ONE FC: "Rise to Power" in the same venue six months previously. The Filipino was seconds away from a first round stoppage win when the bell rang, but his opponent recovered and came back with a perfectly timed overhand right to finish the fight in the second.

That defeat silenced the Filipino fans inside the SM Mall of Asia Arena that night because it meant that all five local fighters on the card had been beaten by foreign opponents. It was a major setback for the nation's burgeoning mixed martial arts (MMA) scene but Banario, Folayang and Eustaquio will all have another opportunity to redeem themselves when they compete again in the same venue on Dec. 6.

Folayang (12-4) is the country's leading lightweight but has suffered a recent blip in form which has seen him lose three out of his last four fights. He remains a crowd favorite due to his all-action style and will be looking to get his career back on track at ONE FC: "Moment of Truth" when he faces an as yet unannounced opponent.

Another fighter who tasted defeat on May 31 was Geje Eustaquio whose record now stands at 4-2. He will be looking to demonstrate that he can be a contender for the ONE FC flyweight belt by bouncing back with a win on Dec. 6, although the identity of his opponent remains a mystery.

The card will also see some women's MMA action as veteran boxer Jujeath Nagaowa competes inside the cage for the first time. This will be the third time that ONE FC has featured female fighters on a card and follows on from the action-packed war between Sherlyin Lim and Ann Osman last month.
