Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for its next pay-per-view (PPV) fight card, UFC 165, which is scheduled to storm Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Sat., Sept. 21, 2013.
"Jones vs Gustafsson" will feature a Light Heavyweight championship contest in the main event when top-ranked pound-for-pound fighter -- and dominant 205-pound kingpin -- Jon Jones puts his belt on the line against surging Swede Alexander Gustafsson.
Seventy pounds south, another world title fight between interim Bantamweight champion Renan Barao against Eddie Wineland will serve as the co-main event, while the rest of the PPV main card is smattered with solid Heavyweight (Matt Mitrione, Brendan Schaub), Middleweight (Francis Carmont, Constantinos Philippou) and Lightweight (Pat Healy, Khabib Nurmagomedov) mixed martial arts (MMA) action.
