Former WBC, WBA and IBF Heavyweight boxing champion, Mike Tyson, recently revealed that his sobriety over alcohol and drugs never really existed. According to "Iron Mike," he's been lying to everyone around him about being clean and said that he "was on the verge of dying" due to being a "vicious alcoholic." For Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White, the news came as a surprise because as the Las Vegas fight boss told members of the media during a recent scrum (video here), Tyson has never shown any signs of alcoholism around him. And the two have spent quite some time around each other over the last few years. Tyson has often been sitting ringside with Dana and Co. at UFC events and has even made a few appearances on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). And while "Kid Dynamite" revealed his is still fighting to stay sober, he says he can't do it alone and will die without help. For his sake, here's to hoping he receives the assistance he desperately needs.
