UFC 166 just keeps getting bigger....literally.

A heavyweight bout between former title challenger Gabriel Gonzaga and rising prospect Shawn Jordan has been added to the event, which will take place this fall (Oct. 19, 2013) at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Both men are coming off devastating first minute knockout victories in their most recent Octagon appearances.

Louisiana media outlet The Advocate broke the news earlier today.

Jordan (15-4) trains out of Jackson's MMA in Albuquerque and has quickly burst onto the scene with a 3-1 record in his UFC career. "The Savage" has really turned it on as of late, finishing Mike Russow via second round TKO and most recently turning out Pat Barry's lights in just 59 seconds at UFC 161.

If Jordan can defeat Gonzaga, he'll have more than put his rough performance against Cheick Kongo in his rear view mirror.

Gonzaga (15-7) has experienced a career resurgence of late, winning three of his four fights since getting resigned to the UFC. He had a hiccup against top heavyweight prospect Travis Browne, but bounced back in a big way in his most recent performance, destroying Dave Herman in just 17 seconds on the UFC 162 preliminary card.

The winner of this bout will likely be getting a top 10 opponent in their next fight.

UFC 166 features a heavyweight title fight trilogy bout between champion Cain Velasquez and former champ Junior dos Santos. Also on tap will be a heavyweight battle featuring Daniel Cormier vs. Roy Nelson, welterweights Hector Lombard vs. Nate Marquardt and former lightweight title challengers Gilbert Melendez vs. Diego Sanchez.
