Programming alert: ‘Countdown' to UFC 162 debuts July 2 on FUEL TV

Countdown to UFC 162: "Silva vs. Weidman" will debut Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 11 p.m. ET on FUEL TV to promote the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for July 6 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.


The network special will provide a glimpse into the preparation and training camps of the fighters set to headline the show, featuring Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman the main event in a clash for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight title.


UFC.com currently lists replays of "Countdown to UFC 162" at the following times (ET):



Tues., July 2 at 11 p.m.

Weds., July 3, at 3 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Thurs., July 4, at 1 a.m., 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Fri., July 5, at 2 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Sat., July 6, at 12 a.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m.



"Silva vs. Weidman" also features a significant bout at 145-pounds as former UFC champion Frankie Edgar looks to break a three-fight losing streak when he takes on the dangerous Charles Oliveira.
