Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was back in action earlier today (April 6, 2013) with UFC on FUEL TV 9: "Mousasi vs. Latifi," emanating from the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

Kicking off the televised portion of the show was a featherweight fracas pitting former Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 contestant Akira Corassani against "Problems" child Robbie Peralta.

The only problem either fighter had was finishing the fight.

It wasn't from lack of opportunity, either. Peralta had his opponent on queer street in the latter half of the second stanza, but charged in a bit too aggressively and allowed Corassani to tie him up and find his sea legs. That's when the former TUF guy was able to land one right behind the ear.

Peralta stumbling around was like "walking on a waterbed," according to cageside commentator Kenny Florian.

The third round mirrored the first in that both fighters were throwing heavy leather; however, Corassani also mixed in a few takedowns to convince the judges (unanimously) that he was the better man on fight night. In doing so, he locks up his second straight win while snapping Peralta's 10-fight unbeaten streak.

That's the way the Swedish cookie crumbles.
