With The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 17 in the books, it's time to start looking ahead.
UFC women's bantamweight contender Cat Zingano earned not only a title shot against Ronda Rousey with her victory over Miesha Tate earlier this month on the TUF 17 Finale, but she also will coach opposite Rousey during filming of TUF season 18, which features both male and female bantamweight fighters.
Zingano will not be alone, of course, and she revealed her TUF 18 coaching staff on Twitter this weekend:
Ok, been getting asked a ton, my TUF 18 coaches @zinganobjj @leisterbowling @markhyena @lorenlandow @ufc @danawhite
— Alpha Cat Zingano (@CatZingano) April 20, 2013
Obviously, ZinganoBJJ is Zingano's husband, Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Mark Zingano. Leister Bowling is the wrestling coach at Grudge in Colorado, one of the premiere fight camps in the sport. @MarkHyena is actually Mark Beecher, one of the better striking coaches in the business who's based out of Las Vegas and has worked with many of the Xtreme Couture fighters. Loren Landow is a strength and conditioning coach who will be handling that portion of the duties.
Do you think Zingano has the recipe for coaching success?
