UFC 156 drug test results are in from Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), which today (Feb. 13, 2013) confirmed that all 22 mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters who were tested for illegal/banned substances after competing at the "Aldo vs. Edgar"-led event on Feb. 2, 2013, in Las Vegas have all passed with flying colors.

Each combatant was screened for performance enhancing drugs such as steroids, as well as drugs of abuse like cocaine and marijuana, among others.

Results from these battery of tests all returned negative.

UFC 156 featured a main event between Featherweight champion Jose Aldo, who successfully defended his 145-pound title via unanimous decision against division debutante Frankie Edgar. In the co-main event, former Light Heavyweight champion Rashad Evans missed out on a possible Middleweight title shot against Anderson Silva with his bizarre performance against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, which resulted in a decision loss.

And who could possibly forget about Antonio Silva, who shocked the world by knocking out Alistair Overeem (watch the epic video highlights again right here) in sensational fashion.
