Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White was practically one incision away from becoming Dr. Carl Hill, all in an effort to rid himself of Meniere's Disease, a debilitating inner ear disorder that causes spontaneous episodes of vertigo, fluctuating hearing loss, ringing in the ear and a feeling of fullness or pressure in the ear.

Unfortunately, it appears the radical treatment was unsuccessful, as White suffered a "bad attack" while in Dublin, Ireland, receiving an honorary award from Trinity College. He was reportedly helped off stage and no, it wasn't because he was intoxicated.
"For the record I was not drinking," said White during today's UFC on FUEL TV 7 press conference in London. "I am on medication. It's the furthest thing from drinking."
Those are the kinds of questions you have to answer when you promise to buy everyone beer when you get to Dublin.
While air travel is one of the culprits behind triggering an attack, White was able to get to the U.K. to fulfill his duties ahead of this weekend's "Barao vs. McDonald" event, which takes place on Sat., Feb. 16, 2013 at the Wembley Arena in London, England.
White insists he's "feeling much better" now that his latest episode has ended, but it undoubtedly calls into question his ability to continue his heavy travel schedule just as the world's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion ramps up its global expansion.
Where he goes from here, remains to be seen. Stay tuned.
