Domino’s Has Trouble With Subtraction, Confused About How Coupons Work

Domino’s is currently promoting a $7.99 pizza deal, which isn’t a bad price for a pizza that might even be edible. The problem is that Domino’s doesn’t seem to be sure how coupons work,

[I] tried to order Domino’s 7.99 pizza… yet I try to use the coupon to get it for 7.99,

and i get just weird pricing.. Three different prices.. which is right? 11.99, 7.99 or 11.25

Where is the math behind this?

I was told there would be no math.

If we understood where companies got any of this math, we would be perched high in the executive suites at Domino’s. It looks like someone forgot to add the actual discount to the coupon code, but you never really can be sure about these things.
